Freshman kari janes shot in the 88th minute found the back of the net to give concordia (4-13-2, 2-6-0 nsic) a 1-0 win over visiting southwest minnesota state (3-12-2, 2-5-1 nsic) at concordia field. sam voeller and katie johnson had the assists on the goal at 87:32.

the bears had 23 shots, with ten shot on goal to dominate the pace of play, while the mustangs were held to ten shots, only five on goal. hillary johnson and janes each had four shots on goal.

keyton wheelock recorded her fifth shutout of the season and the sixth shutout by the concordia defense stopping all five shots she faced on net.
