Concordia university (2-6-1) and msu moorhead (2-5-1) played to a 1-1 tie through a pair of overtimes in a rare non-conference game between the two northern sun schools on sunday afternoon in moorhead, minn.

hillary johnson scored in the 32nd minute on an unassisted goal beating dragon keeper morgan landwehr. Johnson led the bears on the afternoon with three shots (two on goal). Johnson's goal put her in the team lead with four on the season.
sophomore goalkeeper
hannah turgerson played all 100 minutes in the net for cu and recorded 14 saves while allowing just one goal in the 65th minute to tie the game. The tie puts turgerson's season record at 1-2-1 and she now has a team-high 36 saves on the year.
msum outshot cu 15-7 for the game with all 15 of their shots coming on the net. Concordia held a 7-4 edge in corner kicks as well.
