the fourth-ranked concordia volleyball team took a pair of games at the denver premier tournament defeating #10 central missouri 30-20, 30-24, 33-31 and host school regis 30-17, 30-19, 30-22. With the wins, coach brady starkey earned his 100th career win at concordia and is now 100-12 in three seasons.

against central missouri, senior jessica lucia recorded her first double-double of the season, leading the team with 18 kills and ten digs. kelsey kyro added 13 kills and monica mcnamara had 12. maggie mcnamara had 52 assists and megan graham led the team with 17 digs.

for the game, the bears out-hit the jennies with 57 kills and a .281 hitting percentage, while cmsu had 45 kills and only hit .142.

kyro led the bears with 16 kills in the bears against the rangers in the second match of the day. Lucia added 12 as concordia recorded 48 kills, compared to 34 for regis. The team hit .296 while holding regis to .016. maria steinhagen had seven block assists as the team recorded 11 total blocks.

the bears will play in championship bracket of the tournament on saturday.
