The concordia pitching staff allowed only three hits combined in the bears 5-0 and 4-0 wins over wayne state wednesday afternoon to give cu two nsic wins on the road.
in the first game,
kristen schmidt pitched a one-hit complete game shutout with ten strikouts, while the concordia bats scored five runs on seven hits. The bears scored four unearned runs in the sixth inning on singles by
natalie mast, vanessa dufresne and a two-run single by
kristin linell. Wayne state committed two errors in the inning to give the bears a 4-0 lead.

enzler led off the game with a double and scored later in the inning on a wild pitch to give the bears an early 1-0 lead. That would be all the offense the concordia needed as
mandy turba (right) allowed only two hits and struck out three to get the win.
mallory olson (left) went 3-3 in the game with two doubles and scored a run.
the bears scored their four runs on nine hits, with four doubles.
