The Concordia baseball team remained perfect with a pair of wins over Wheeling Jesuit Thursday afternoon. The Bears bats were busy as they won game one 16-0 and came from behind to win game two 16-13.
Geoff Bray (left) improved to 2-0 on the season with the win in the first game, allowing seven hits and no runs with four strikeouts.
Chris Duda and
Ted Farni each had a double and home run in the game. As a team, CU had 15 hits.
Robert Dunlop earned his first win, with
Jacob Schmidt getting the save in game two. Duda (right) went 5-6 with four runs scored. He had seven hits on the day.
Bobby Meier went 2-5 with a double and five rbi in the game. As a team, the Bears had 19 hits in the game with five doubles, a triple and a home run.
The Bears will finish their 2006 Florida trip Friday with a single game against Findlay at 12:00.
