Concordia university (8-2) saw their five game winning streak come to a close as they fell at home to the university of minnesota duluth 72-55 on friday evening at the gangelhoff center.
the bears 55 points and 37.7% shooting were both their second lowest totals of the season, with the only lower figures coming in their other loss at st. Cloud state.
the bulldogs scored first and never looked back as the bears would never force a tie or a lead change the rest of the way. Concordia went on a few runs to close the gap but couldn't get over the hump as the bulldogs used strong 60.0% (9-15) three-point shooting to bury concordia's threats.
concordia was led by four players in double-figures as senior center
