The seventh-ranked concordia university volleyball team continued their march through the northern sun schedule as they defeated minnesota, crookston 30-16, 30-24, 30-24 at the nsic crossover in moorhead, minn.

jessica lucia (left) led five golden bears in double-digit kills and four in double-digit digs with 18 and 13, respectively as she racked up another double-double. For the match, she hit .441 in 34 attacks while also posting four assists.
the other four bears to reach double-figures in kills were
kelsey kyro, monica mcnamara, maria steinhagen and
ashley olson who all recorded 10 kills. Steinhagen (right) hit a match-high .556 in 18 error-free attempts.
joining lucia with at least 10 digs were
megan graham, mary slinger and
maggie mcnamara. Graham's (left) 16 digs were a match high while slinger equaled lucia with 13 and maggie mcnamara had 10 as she posted a double-double with 47 assists as she led the team to a .297 team hitting pct.
the concordia defense held umc to just 27 kills in the match as the golden eagles hit .130 as a team.
with the win, the golden bears have now swept all ten nsic matches this season and they pushed their streak to 51 consecutive matches won against nsic opponents.
they continue play in the nsic crossover tomorrow afternoon when they play msu moorhead and bemidji state at 2:00 and 6:00, respectively.
