The concordia volleyball team extended its nsic winning streak to 58 matches with a 3-1 (30-25, 18-30, 30-16, 30-26) win over northern state in aberdeen.
jessica lucia led the bears attack with her 16th double-double of the season with 23 kills and 19 digs.
ashley olson (right) also recorded a double-double with 13 kills, 15 digs and three blocks in the game.
kelsey kyro also had 13 kills in the match.
megan graham (left) led the defense with 28 digs as the bears recorded a season-high 103 digs in the match.
maggie mcnamara, the ncaa division ii leader in assists, had 57 in the match.
as a team, the bears only hit .174 with 68 kills, while northern state hit .104 with 49 kills. Concordia had 8 team blocks, led by
maria steinhagen's five block assists.
the bears are now 30-2 (17-0 nsic) on the season. They have won 30-plus games in four straight seasons and have won a school-record 17 nsic regular-season games. They will finish the nsic regular-season at the university of mary on saturday, oct. 28th in bismarck, nd.
