the bears dominated the game, shooting 54.8% (34-62) from the field while holding uiu to just 33.3% (19-57). Each team canned six three point field goals, but the bears only needed six attempts while the peacocks took 18 three point shots.
cu also dominated the paint, outrebounding upper iowa 43-34 and outscoring them 56-18 in the paint.
the peacocks were led by christa hammel's double-double as she matched carlisle's 18 points while hauling in a game-high 11 rebounds.
