Jessica Lucia pounded 18 kills to lead #6 Concordia University (13-3, 4-0 NSIC) to a 30-19, 30-18, 30-18 sweep over Minnesota Crookston (5-9, 0-4 NSIC), extending the Golden Bears winning streak to seven matches. The Bears have won 21 of 22 games during the streak.
In addition to her 18 kills, Lucia hit .406 and had eight digs and a pair of blocks. Junior
Kelsey Kyro was the only other Bear to hit double-figure kills with 10. Kyro has recorded at least 10 kills in ever match but one this season, while Lucia has successfully recorded 10 kills in every match.

The Bears held UMC to a .073 hitting percentage for the match and closed out the contest by holding the Golden Eagles to a -.028 in game three, allowing just seven kills in the deciding game.
