#4 Concordia University (8-3) rebounded with a pair of three-game wins against #16 Augustana (7-3) and South Dakota (4-6) on the second day of the NSIC/NCC Crossover in Aberdeen, S.D. Concordia dispatched Augustana 30-28, 32-30, 30-17 before sweeping South Dakota 30-24, 30-23, 30-15.
Five Golden Bears had at least 10 kills against Augustana, led by junior
Kelsey Kyro and senior
Valerie Olson, who each drilled 13 kills. Kyro also led the team with a .379 hitting percentage.

CU outblocked the Vikings 13-8 in the balanced win.
In their second win of the day over South Dakota, Lucia led the way with 16 kills and hit .343, while V. Olson smacked 14 kills while hitting a team-high .462. CU held USD to a .133 hitting percentage in the match while hitting .264. Concordia hit a match-high .386 in the third game.
The Golden Bears return to action Sept. 16-17 as they make their home debut in the Gangelhoff Center as they begin Northern Sun play. They host Southwest Minnesota State on Friday at 7 p.m. and Wayne State on Saturday at 4 p.m.
