Casandra Rikkola scored the Bears' goal in the 23rd minute, her first career goal.
The goal was a header by Rikkola amid commotion in front of the net after sophomore
Hillary Johnson had two shots saved. Johnson was credited with the assist on the play.

Kara Gamboni recorded the shutout to earn the victory for Concordia. Gamboni saved five shots by the Peacocks.
The Bears controlled the game, outshooting Upper Iowa 25-10, holding an 11-5 advantage in shots on goal. Johnson fired nine shots in the game, two on goal, while freshman
Sam Voeller had six shots, three on goal. Senior
Lyndsey Hartleben contributed five shots, three on goal.
