Kyle Marxhausen gave a solid effort as well, nearly missing a triple-double with 17 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. Justin Vandenberg also scored in double digits with 13 points.

There were 13 lead changes throughout the game, and the score was tied six times in this tightly contested game. Free-throw shooting let the Peacocks in the game near the end of regulation, but it was the shots from the line that iced the victory in the end for the Bears.
