Kelsey Kyro smacked 21 kills with just two errors to lead #4 Concordia University in a 3-1 victory over Winona State 30-24, 30-23, 24-30, 30-21 on Friday evening in Winona, Minn. The win gives the Golden Bears their second consecutive perfect conference season, as they finished their NSIC schedule 14-0.
Kyro hit .528 in 36 attempts and led the team with five blocks. It was the eighth time that Kyro has hit at least .500 in a match, and she raises her season attack pct. to .364. Sophomore
Monica McNamara hit an astounding .647 as she recorded 11 kills in 17 error-free total attacks.
Senior setter
Cailin Terhaar notched 61 assists and led a Concordia attack that hit .376 as a team. Terhaar also had six digs in the match, and it was her ninth time with at least 60 assists in a match this year.

Jessica Lucia logged a double-double, as she hammered 15 kills to go with 10 digs. Lucia has successfully reached double-digit kills in every match this season.

The Golden Bears return home on Tuesday, Nov. 8 when they play host to #5 Minnesota Duluth at 7 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come to the "Roast the Dogs" hot dog roast prior to the match in the Gangelhoff Center plaza. There will be a large t-shirt and hot dog giveaway at the event prior to the match between the top two teams in the region. Concordia currently holds the number one ranking in the North Central Region with the Bulldogs coming in with the 2nd ranking.
