Junior Rachel Vitense scored for the Bears in the 85th minute to give Concordia a 1-0 win over Minnesota Crookston on the road in NSIC action. Vitense's goal came on an assist from sophomore Whitney Pitra.

The Bears were outshot 9-4 in the game, but they got a combined shutout performance from Kara Gamboni and Hannah Turgerson. Gamboni tallied five saves in the first half, while Turgerson had four in the second.

With the win, the Bears move to 5-10-2 (4-6-2 NSIC). They will be in action again tomorrow at Bemidji State.
