#4 Concordia University improved to 2-0 in NSIC action with a 30-20, 30-21, 30-18 win over UM Crookston.
Tia Lindberg paced the Concordia attack with 13 kills and four block assists, while
Val Olson added 12 kills.
As a team, the Bears had 49 kills, compared to 39 for UM Crookston.
Joy Wubben contributed nine kills and six block assists.
Cailin Terhaar had 41 set assists and four of CU's six service aces in the match.
With the win, Concordia improves to 12-1 overall and 2-0 in the NSIC. They will host their first games at Gangelhoff Center this weekend when Southwest Minnesota State and Wayne State come to town.
