The Bears defeated a pair of NCC challengers 3-0 at the NSIC/NCC Crossover in Aberdeen, S.D. Concordia defeated St. Cloud State (30-25, 30-20, 30-14) in the morning and #16 Augustana College (30-20, 30-12, 30-22) in the afternoon.
Against St. Cloud Ctate,
Val Olson had 17 kills, only one error, and a .593 hitting percentage.
Joy Wubben had 14 kills, and
Tia Lindberg had 12 in the win.
Megan graham had 15 digs. As a team, the Bears had 56 kills, compared to SCSU's 35. The Bears hit an impressive .398 and had 12 block assists, to SCSU's 2.
In the win over Augustana,
Joy Wubben hit .484 with 17 kills, and Val Olson and Lindberg had 13 and 10, respectively. Wubben also had a block solo and six assists.
As a team, CSP had 57 kills to Augustana's 31 and 10 blocks to Augustana's 3.
