No. 4 Concordia University (24-1, 11-0 NSIC) swept Southwest Minnesota State (18-7, 8-4 NSIC) in three games, 30-20, 30-25, 30-15 to jump out to their best start in school history.

Cailin Terhaar had 37 set assists for the Bears.
For the game, CSP had 46 kills to SMSU's 36 while out-hitting the Mustangs .364 to .142. The Bears also used a superior defense to dispatch of the Mustangs, edging them in blocks 7 to 5 while out-digging them 44 to 28.
The Bears 24-1 start on the season surpassed their start from a year ago when they jumped out to a 23-1 start before falling to Minnesota Duluth in four games at home on Halloween.
Concordia volleyball returns to action on Tuesday, Nov. 2 as they host the MSU Moorhead Dragons in a battle of the top two teams in the Northern Sun. The Dragons will enter Tuesday's competition with a record of 9-2 in conference play and 22-3 overall. They are currently ranked no. 15 in the nation and no. 3 in the North Central Region.
