Junior linebacker Nick Jauch was the key force in a 29-0 shutout win for the Concordia defense, leading the way with 1.5 sacks and 1.5 tackles for loss among his four total tackles.

Jauch and the Golden Bears forced Minot State to punt on 10 of their 12 drives, only let them cross the 50-yard line twice, caused one turnover on downs and one turnover.

He was also deemed the football team's defensive player of the week for his efforts.
