Concordia’s senior shortstop had a monster weekend at the plate, hitting .667 (10-15) while slugging 1.467. Of her 10 hits, seven went for extra bases with four doubles, a triple and two home runs. She drove in 10 runs, scored seven, had two walks and only struck out once to lead Concordia to a 5-1 start to Northern Sun play. She’s riding a 9-game hitting streak and earlier in the year had a 12-game hitting streak.
She’s second in the league in hitting on the year (.477), sixth in slugging (.754) and fifth in on-base percentage (.514). She leads the team with seven doubles, three homers and 20 RBI as well.
Nationally, Larsen ranks 19th in the country in hitting, 53rd in slugging and 56th in OBP.
