Last week’s NSIC Pitcher of the Week, Ashley Kluever continued her unprecedented run of consecutive scoreless innings with a 1-hit, complete game (7 IP) shutout with 12 strikeouts to close the Golden Bears undefeated spring trip at the Rebel Spring Games. She carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning in Concordia’s 2-0 win over Walsh (Ohio).

The shutout was her fifth straight and pushed her consecutive scoreless innings streak to 34.0 spanning six appearances.

In her last four starts, she’s thrown three 1-hitters and a 2-hitter. During the streak, she’s struck out 49 batters in 34.0 innings while allowing only 10 total hits and only one extra base hit (a double).

She’s won 7-straight decisions and is now 8-3 on the year with a 2.21 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 57.0 innings.
