Adam Kramer tossed a 1-hitter over 6.0 innings to earn his first victory of the season for the Golden Bears in a 5-1 win over Missouri S&T on Friday at the Metrodome. He worked hitless frames in the first, second, fourth, fifth and sixth innings and preserved a 3-1 lead before the offense added two insurance runs in the top of the seventh. He held the Miners to .056 hitting on just one single. He struck out three and walked a pair.
