Cole Olstad became the first Concordia player to score 30 or more points in a game since the 2009-10 season on Saturday, pouring in 30 points in a road victory at U-Mary. He added seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in the 11-point win, making 12-of-12 at the stripe including 8-of-8 in the final two minutes. He also hit four three-pointers and was 7-of-13 from the floor.
For the weekend, Olstad averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals. He shot 92.3% (12-13) from the line, 54.2% (13-24) from the floor and 38.5% (5-13) from three.
He’s the 14th player in school history to score 30 in a game, which has been done 27 times since the 1967-68 season.
