The Northern Sun’s scoring leader (18.9 ppg) in conference play averaged 20.5 points and 8.0 rebounds in a pair of road wins for the Golden Bears at Minot State and U-Mary. Whiting topped 20 in both games, giving her eight 20-plus point games on the year.

On Saturday, she added fifth double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds, which was her first 20/10 double-double of the year. Whiting shot 54.5% (18-33) from the floor and 83.3% (5-6) from the stripe, adding three steals and a block on the weekend.

She’s scored double-digits every game this year for the NSIC leading Golden Bears.
