Lajuan Preston (Jumps/Sprints, 5-11, 165, Fr., Fort Myers, Fla. / Dunbar HS)
  • Took home a pair of top-five finishes at the Snowshoe Open on Friday
  • Grabbed a fourth place finish in the 60 meter finals with a time of 7.02 seconds, representing the second best finish among non-DI athletes
  • Also finished fifth in the long jump by clearing a distance of 21'11.75", putting him behind only one other non-DI athlete
  • Has finished inside the top-five nine times in his first season with the Golden Bears
  • Currently ranks seventh in the 60 meter dash and 12th in the long jump in the NSIC heading into the conference championships
