Whiting continued her breakout sophomore campaign with back-to-back 20-plus point performances in leading the Golden Bears to a pair of 20-plus point victories on the road. She averaged 24.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks while shooting 59.4% (19-32) from the floor.

On Friday at USF in a 74-49 win, Whiting lit up the Cougars for 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting with seven rebounds and three blocks.

On Saturday in an 81-59 win at SMSU, Whiting went for a career-high 29 points on 12-of-20 shooting with six rebounds and two assists.

She now has four 20-point games and has scored at least 15 in every game this year. She leads the league in scoring both overall (19.6) and in NSIC-only play (21.4).

On the year she’s shooting 57.1% from the floor while playing 32.9 minutes per game.
