Finished first in both the discus and the shot put at the River City Rumble
His mark of 56-3.25 (17.15m) in the shot put was an NCAA DII qualifying mark
His shot put also set a new CSP record, ranking him 20th in the nation
His distance of 189-6 (57.75m) in the discus was an NCAA DII automatic qualifying mark and would rank fourth in the nation
