Concordia's feature running back bolted his way to a third 100-yard game of the season on just 16 attempts while scoring two touchdowns. He added a season-high 21 receiving yards on three catches out of the backfield at Southwest Minnesota State in a one-touchdown loss.

Spears now has 793 rushing yards on the year with four touchdowns, averaging 5.0 per carry and 79.3 per game. He ranks sixth in the Northern Sun in rushing yards, just four out of fifth place and 22 out of fourth place. His 160 carries are third in the conference.
