  • Hit .636/.765/.818 (7-11) in the season's final week, reaching base six times via walk or HBP
  • Helped lead the Golden Bears to a four game sweep of Sioux Falls to clinch an NSIC Tournament berth and move up from eighth to sixth on the final weekend
  • Added two doubles, three runs and three RBI and only struck out once while starting all four games
  • Played error-free at the hot corner, including a pair of double plays and multiple diving stops leading to outs
  • Went 6-6 with two walks and an HBP on the final day of the regular season Saturday, scoring twice and driving in three along with a double
  • Went 4-4 with a walk in the second game of the doubleheader finale against USF
  • The late season surge by Poppitz lifted his average 29 points, from .271 to .300
