Kari Opatz (Fr., 5-11, Eagan, Minn. / Eastview HS)
  • Finished second among 60 individuals at the two-round NSIC Spring Championships at Dacotah Ridge Golf Course in Morton, Minn.
  • Shot the lowest round of the spring event (77) in the first round, tying five others between the two days
  • Shot a 79 in the second round to finish with a 156, just one stroke off the leader
  • In the four round NSIC Championships (two fall rounds, two spring rounds), Opatz finished fifth out of 49 total competitors to finish all rounds and helped the Golden Bears to a second place finish in the 12-team conference standings
  • Named NSIC All-Tournament Team for her top-5 finish
  • Collected her third top-5 and fourth top-10 finish of the 2014-15 season in nine total events
