Arielle Stimson scored a goal in both of Concordia’s wins this weekend along with three assists for a seven-point weekend. On Saturday against Sioux Falls, Stimson got credit for an assist after her rebounded shot was tapped in by Sam McBain. Stimson then scored what proved to be the game-winning goal later in the first period. Her second assist in the game was a well-placed pass to Chloe Moore for an open net shot. She followed that performance with a goal and assist in a come-from-behind victory at Southwest Minnesota State. Stimson assisted on the game-tying goal and scored the game-winner for the second straight game. She is now tied for the team-high in goals with eight.

In her career, Stimson has moved up to second in career points (71), tied for second in career goals (27) and third in career assists (17). Her eight goals this year are the sixth-most in a single season in school history and just two off her career high set as a freshman.
