One of the top NSIC tacklers, Halverson produced his finest game of the season with 11 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks to lead the Golden Bears in shutting down the Sioux Falls run offense to just 35 yards on 32 attempts. The 4.0 tackles for loss is the second most in the NSIC in a game this season, while his 11 tackles give him 10+ tackles in six out of seven games. It was his first 3.0 sack game of his career and is tied for the NSIC’s single-game high this season, just the second player to notch the feat. He leads the NSIC with 13.0 tackles for loss on the year and is sixth in the league both sacks (4.0) and tackles (73).
