Sophomore southpaw Zach Rengel improved to 3-0 in just his third start last weekend against U-Mary by working 7.0 shutout innings to lower his season ERA to 0.47 in 19 innings.

He struck out eight and allowed just two hits to the Marauders to help Concordia improve to 2-0 in league play.

He's holding opponents to a .169 average and has allowed only 11 hits in three starts. He ranks second in the NSIC in ERA, opponent average and in the top-10 in several other statistics including wins and innings per start.
