A Green Bay, Wis. native, Cullen set a pair of records at the Snowshoe Open on Friday at the University of Minnesota.

He set records in the shot put with a mark of 15.93m and in the weight throw with a mark of 15.74m. He finished sixth in the shot put and tenth in the weighted throw against the deep field.

Both records were formerly held by Nate Thienes from the 2013 season. He topped Thienes' mark by over a foot in the shot put, and four inches in the weight throw.
