Whiting had another huge weekend on the offensive end as she averaged 25.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals in the two wins over USF and SMSU. She hit an impressive 61.3% (19-31) of her shots from the floor and buried 92.3% (12-13) of her attempts from the charity stripe. On Friday, Whiting hit a milestone as she scored a career-high 31 points on 12-17 shooting and 7-7 from the free throw line.  She also pulled in nine boards and dished out three assists.

Whiting is third in the league in scoring (17.7) and free throw shooting (.913) and 11th in field goal percentage (.488) while averaging 6.6 rebounds per game.

Her performance netted her a third NSIC Player of the Week award this week as well.
