The nation's top-ranked setter for the fourth-straight year, three-time All-American Amanda Konetchy led the Golden Bears to the Central Region Championship last weekend as the Golden Bears won nine out of 10 sets played against three top-25 programs.

She averaged 13.60 assists per set, which is nearly a half assist per set higher than her already best in the NCAA average. The Golden Bears hit .373 as a team and had five hitters averaged between 2.1 and 3.8 kills per set in the process. She also racked up 26 digs and had a pair of double-doubles.

Her assists went up each match, with 43 against #22 Northern State (team hit .340), 44 against #5 Central Missouri (team hit .436) and 49 against #2 Minnesota Duluth (team hit .348).

Konetchy is ranked 19th in NCAA Division II history and third in school history with 6,056 career assists. Her 13.08 career assist per set average currently ranks 10th in Division II history while her senior year career-high 13.22 assist per set average ranks third in NCAA Division II history, trailing former Golden Bear Maggie McNamara's junior and senior campaigns in 2008 & 2009 when she was the National Player of the Year.
