VanPelt continued his solid start to the 2013-14 season by scoring 20 points thanks in large part to perfect free throw shooting in 10 attempts on Saturday against #11 Minnesota State. He also pulled down four rebounds for the third time in a row.

On the year, the sixth-leading scorer in the Northern Sun (17.0) has scored at least 13 points in every game this year with Saturday's 20 being a season-high. He's also grabbed at least three rebounds in every game and dished four or more assists in three out of six games.

Over the last three games, he's a remarkable 24-of-25 at the foul line, getting there at least 10 times in two straight games.
