Cassie Haag earns Concordia Female Athlete of the Week honors for the second time during the young fall season. She continued to be a dominant presence at the net this weekend as the Golden Bears picked up two conference victories. On Friday against No. 2 Southwest Minnesota State, Haag went 10-for-16 on the attack with one error for a .562 attack percentage. She then posted her best all-around performance on Saturday against Sioux Falls with a season-high 18.5 points. Haag tallied 15 kills, a .500 attack percentage, three block assists and two solo blocks. On a career note, Haag now has 1,031 kills for 12th all-time in the Concordia record book. She is 57 away from 11th place. For the week, Haag hit .524 (25-3-42) while averaging a team-best 4.17 kills per set and adding 1.0 blocks per set with six total in two matches.
