ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Concordia-St. Paul men's and women's track and field team are back in town this Friday for the Minnesota Cold Classic at the University of Minnesota.

MEET INFO
The Minnesota Cold Classic will be held in the University Fieldhouse on U of M's campus on February 21
st. The meet will begin with field events starting at 2:00 p.m. Throws will begin with the weight throw and long jump will kick off the jumps. Running events are set to launch at 2:30 p.m. starting with the 60-meter hurdles. The final race will be the 4x400 at 6:45 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Last weekend the Golden Bears competed at the NSIC Preview in Mankato where both teams took sixth place and collected 16 top-ten finishes.

Toni Canfall broke her school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.56 second. The junior took second place in the meet and currently sits in 14
th with a strong NCAA provisional qualifying mark. In the 60-meter hurdles,
Christabelle Mulcahy collected a third place finish to earn six points for the women with a time of 8.87 seconds.

The Bears dominated the 5000m as
Kara Lindberg took first place with a time of 18:22.00 and Lucia Mesfun came in second with a time of 18:25.00.
Lydia Carr was right behind them with a time of 19:43.46 to take fifth in the race.

Hannah Gustafson had another solid performance in the weight throw, taking second place with a distance of 59'7.75".

Throws were strong for the men's side as
Marcus Gustaveson won the shot put with a toss of 54'5".
Hunter Quinn was also top-five in the shot put with a throw of 46'9.5" and hit a PR in the weight throw, launching his implement 52'11.5" for a sixth-place finish.
On the track,
Benjamin Allen took first in the 1000m with a time of 2:29.04. He was also apart of the distance medley team with
Zeke Green,
Andrew Johnson, and
Cory Warner that took first place (10:18.07).

For the sprints,
Brian Szutkowski had the top finish after earning fourth place in the 60-meter dash (6.98 seconds). Marshall Keppeson cleared 14'1.25" in the pol vault to come in fifth place.

LAST YEAR AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA
A year ago, the men competed in the Showshoe Open and the women competed in the Parents Day Open at the University of Minnesota.

At the Snowshoe Open,
Zeke Green took third in the 3000m with a time of 8:55.71 seconds. The field events were dominant as
Arik Johnson took fifth-place in the long jump (20'3.75") and the high jump (5'10"). His brother,
Andrew Johnson, took fourth in the long jump with a leap of 20'5.75".

Marshall Jeppeson took fourth in the pole vault, clearing 13'9.25" and
Keegan Larson was the top shot putter for CSP, taking sixth with a toss of 42'10.75".

At the Parent's Day Open,
Toni Canfall took second in the 200m with a time of 25.35 seconds which broke the school record at the time.
Lauren Magnuson also performed well in the race, coming in fourth with a time of 25.78.

In the high jump,
Arika Robinson came in second after clearing 5'3.75".Â
Hannah Gustafson through the shot put 41'3.75 to take sixth before throwing the weight 51'10" to finish eighth.
