Douglas is celebrated as one of Concordia's all-time best baseball players. His achievements in baseball include: 3-time Most Valuable Player, All-Conference catcher, NAIA Div. III All District team, and a 4-year letter winner. Douglas pitched a no-hitter against Bethel College in 1973. He was also a starting defensive back and letter winner in football. Douglas is currently a crop and beef farmer in Fairbault, MN.
