BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) released their first weekly release of the 2017-18 basketball season and Concordia's
Anna Schmitt was named the South Division Player of the Week. Schmitt tallied her 1,000 career point in their game against Pittsburg State and averaged 26.0 points per game in the opening weekend.

- Scored her 1,000 point in season opener, becoming the 28th Golden Bear to ever do so
